      I agree with this but I'm surprised how little credit Thiel is getting right now. He's been the most vocal advocate of this entire idea for years now.

      I am unsure why twitter is reacting if this is a new idea. The stagnationists, and even fucking ross douthat, has been on this case for a long while. pmarca's case is slightly novel, but this isn't stepwise.

      Agree— I just worry about the handful of tweets with reasonable traction suggesting this is a stepwise change for political thought that will rattle up to the highest levels of government. This still takes work
