Records inhibit candor, though. Is this thing on?
clubhouse is exponentially increasing the intellectual dark matter of the internet and it kind of sucks. so many interesting conversations, outlandish claims, and things deserving followup that are just lost forever now.

it certainly seems to have not inhibited twitter. If at all, clubhouse conversations seem more shamelessly vain, not at all any more intellectually free.

and twitter was bad enough already subject/topic based forums (to avoid targeted mass harassment between communities that don't "get" each other) with conversations that were easily searchable and archivable were peak internet

it sounds like Paul and Rohan are already thinking through the right way to do this. A platform for semi-private, off the record conversations does compliment twitter nicely
