bacow/harvard sent out similar earlier this week (pay cuts, furloughs, paused capital projects). tough situation. fall almost certainly at least partially remote. as soon as you announce that, expect tuition rev disappears. endowments down ~20% now and that's before next leg down

I went to a college who's largest selling point is an automatic half tuition scholarship for all students (was full pre-08). I have a really hard time seeing that survive this, nor the college itself.

Yeah, v unfortunate that there are a lot of private universities that will really struggle. I also feel badly for all the high school seniors. Just makes me sad when I think about all the happy memories I have from senior year and starting college.
