I pass on 99%+ of all deals I see. Founders then ask for intros to other investors. This is obviously fraught. But what if I shared these opps on Twitter? There's a chance an investor could see and have interest. And little downside.
sharing deals on twitter feels like the best anti-signal imaginable. if you pass on a deal-- that's not a normative claim its a bad deal. If you think it is, don't do intros, if you passed for any other reason, do intros.
