Everywhere I turn there's a new company automating clinical note writing. Literally just clicked on a guy's profile I never met who I thought worked in sales and he's a co-founder of one.
i don't understand how so many good funds funded otter clones with basic clinical NER on top.

That's what happens when everyone agrees on a problem that happens to have a huge market. I think timing is key here though. Good to have a lot of experiments going on but don't think the healthcare system is primed for a market leader anytime soon.
