Get over ear headphones and rejoin the non sims characters who enjoy proper quality music
after years of airpod use, finally noticing the effects of audio fatigue. My playlists are functionally audio soylent, I don’t listen to music for fun anymore, but instead the ritual of having something to listen to while walking. Need to find a way to fix this.

I've been running into this a lot lately. I think it's less about AirPods and more about overwhelming our brains with content for every second of every day. My solution has been to just stop listening to anything for a day or two, and it's worked great.

Try getting a turntable. I know it's got a 'hipster' appeal now, but there's something about browsing bins for music, purposely choosing from your collection, physically putting it on, and then sitting down to listen. It's a whole process and mood.

Agreed. But get a good one because a bad one will just frustrate you. Speaking from experience as I start the search for a replacement.
