how in the world do you go about finding a good PCP? work in healthcare and still feeling hopelessly lost about finding a somewhat research forward doc.

I paid a virtual admin to research it the last time I found one and would definitely recommend it. She created a spreadsheet with med school, residency, clinical interests, research publications, tenure, age, ... And then called to see who was accepting new patients.

It was >6 years ago. It would not be hard to recreate, though. You just need someone to do the legwork of going to all of the sites and putting it in one place. For me, it was totally worth the ~$200.pic.twitter.com/tsFsgObwtm

Drew while I understand your intentions in finding out where they went to Med school & Residency, their US News ranked education has no correlation to how good their outcomes are, esp in primary care. Few sites measure outcomes that matter. Check out my friend Ted Chan
