Spent quality time w/ my little brother (21 y/o college student) over the holiday discussing trends in consumer. Craziest thing: he made a dozen new friends at our hotel. He got 0 numbers. But he got a dozen new Snap friends. Kids don't text, they Snapchat. Snap ain't dead.

Super interesting...as a 22 year old I can't rmdemved the last time I added someone on snap. Text has been my main means of "adding" people I want to keep in touch with and ig for acquaintances

This is kinda interesting because as someone who is older, feel like Insta is viewed as more personal than texting for my age group I think.

Have definitely gotten this impression from older colleagues on Insta - much more family content and selfies etc than your typical 25 year old trying to look cool at a club content
