If you have any large universities nearby with rare books collections or similar, just swing by and ask one of their librarians who their preferred bookbinder is

I would ask some of my favorite library of congress librarians but something tells me their bookbinders may not be in my league (good advice tho - will try and find a better place!)

honestly might not be horrible-- had one of my beautiful, but extremely worthless to everyone but me, 1800's de providentia rebond for just north of 200 by a really nice archival shop
