It's not that I'm anti-computational drug discovery. It's that I'm anti-Stanford-dropout-comes-and-saves-stogey-pharmaceutical-industry-by-introducing-linear-regression-overfit-on-bad-molecular-featurization narrative that many of these companies run with. Pharma /is/ tech fwd
+1 to Will's point. Still fundamentally skeptical on a number of the datasets that a lot of these "models" are built atop as well, and the somewhat outlandish claims often made by AI DD cos.
