Looking for some perspectives on starting up and early teams: A friend is working on a tech platform, some early partnership discussions, some personal capital + F&F. Being non-technical, he's thinking about how to build an MVP. Any thoughts on early employees vs. dev shops?
imo I don't understand how you can expect to build a technology company without in-house engineering. even trying to hire early eng is a huge uphill battle with a entirely non-technical team.
