A health investor told me they take Metformin and baby aspirin for disease prevention/anti-aging. Is that common and does anyone else? Happy to chat confidentially. Metformin is typically prescribed for people with diabetes. Asking with their permission.

Did my PhD in aging. Seen fringe anti-aging "biohackers" doing this. I see no any evidence (e.g. RCT) to warrant it. IMO no better treatment for aging than calorie restriction (promotes metabolism and autophagy) and cardio + weights (activate many protective pathways).

The research in mTOR is really promising, but biggest gains in longevity I saw in my research was via genetic modification to activate "healthy aging" pathways, which are also activated by weightlifting and cardio. No small molecules or Abs did the job.
