Lambda's rate of innovation is what is super interesting here-- they are rolling out new coursework, meta-level teaching structures, and student support systems in seemingly no time. I was super skeptical of them for a long time, not so much anymore

Yes, Lambda is doing a lot quickly. That’s not what the focus of the article was - the article’s framing showed a shameful unawareness that this particular tuition model is the norm in a lot of places that aren’t the US.

I dunno.... i actually agree that comparisons w/examples of public policy solutions make no sense. This biz model will always be optimized to produce plastic surgeons vs. geriatricians. Meanwhile nearly 1 in 6 Americans is 65+, and we’re not solving this lack on a market basis.
