This is a great feature. You captured the vibe very well, I think (weirdos and all!) I love that you pointed out the liberal education could use more project-based engineering. And I agree Olin could use more classic liberal arts.

Early on we had talked about how we might do more of that, but I think the idea ended up being that humanities at Olin might be more related to engineering (sociology, history of tech) - and traditional arts would mostly be available through cross-registration.

But Lee, doesn’t it worry you that every article reads exactly the same over the past 20 years? Candidate’s Weekend, Design Thinking, tuition considerations, and then an open question of scaling the experiment... there’s more innovation happening, I bet.
