What is that little brown bird? I put seeds out for them every morning expecting just a few, but they invite all the other little brown birds in the area and now my backporch is an aviary full of them.
I dont even know what they're called. -
That is a male house sparrow. It is now red-listed by the RSPB Red is the highest conservation priority, with species needing urgent action. So keep inviting them!

I always make sure that the little birdies have plenty of water

I do too, we also have bee bowls at ground level for bees and hedgehogs etc. Would love a wildlife pond one day but it's not practical at the moment with dogs and small grandchildren.
