Really pleased to have found this male on the east coast of Anglesey this morning. Only other views I've had of this species were on freezing cold, windy Norfolk coast!

Male bullfinch feeding on Prunus. Must find out what this variety is as it's always popular with bullfinches here!

Surprised that there any seeds left in my garden teasels but clearly a few remain.

A bit too distant for my camera but interesting to watch two magpies teasing a fox snoozing in the sunshine on the bank at the far side of my garden this morning. Eventually he wandered off - not really bothered!

Outside my back door. No doubt there is plenty of winter still to come but catkins mean spring! Love them.

What an absolute joy to open my back door every morning and hear a song thrush singing from the hawthorns on the edge of my garden.

Always a welcome visitor to my garden. Tree creepers seem to especially like my old Bramley apple tree.

Hoping for better things for the environment this year. May your days be filled with birdsong.

Pretty cold on the Long Mynd this afternoon. Left just as the sun was setting behind the Duckley Nap signpost.

Plenty of murk and mist around South Shropshire today but song thrush singing well in the wood next door and a small 'flock' of 8 greenfinches in the garden this morning.
