Just to be 100% clear here: You’ve created a system that basically excludes all but 48 players from participating. It’s a huge sign of disrespect to the other 47 people competing and all the others on the sidelines to not say no to that request. Why should anyone care now?

I’m super angry and I’m not even trying to break into competitive Hearthstone. I’m just a nerd who makes pretty charts out of tournament results and follows it closely. I can’t imagine how I’d feel if I was someone who spent the last year grinding 15 hour qualifiers.

I also don’t know why players can’t switch schedule spots if everybody can agree.
-
I think this is b/c to develop viewers dedicated to particular GMs, you can't just switch schedules around. You risk viewers missing their favorite player. I'd be upset if I'd planned a break around watching Strifcro's game, only to discover it'd been moved.

That actually even makes things worse.

In the HMT system, we're not allowed to play two qualifiers at the same time, and admins will DQ you from the earlier one if caught.

From a players point of view, you’d have to forfeit the other tournament. Unfortunate timing.
-
Yeah, you would. Or you’d have to not enter that tournament in the first place. But it’s on the people in charge of Grandmasters to respect their tournament enough to tell a player that’s what they have to do because they signed a contract to play in theirs first.

I don´t know about others but on a high level you can´t play Auto Chess and Hearthstone at the same time. I am more surprised that he actually thought he could do that and that blizzard allowed this in first place. Atleast now he knows.
-
I'm not going to be surprised that a high level player thinks they're good enough to be able to do both. It's on the people in charge of the event to tell them no, the same way they tell players who try to play in two master's tour qualifiers at once that they can't do that.
