    Top of my reading list- just heard on - this novel about a woman formerly enslaved in on trial in for the murder of her enslavers has been shortlisted for the Costa Prize and she’s writing a screenplay- amazing! Something for ?

    I knew Jack Merritt from Learning Together. He was a amazing person and I’m devastated. Certain shameless politicians are attempting to use his death to legitimate draconian sentencing changes, and so I think it's important to emphasise what he and Learning Together stand for. 1/
