What possible reason would there be for "vaccine hesitant" or anti-vaccine persons to get the vaccine now? They can simply claim they were vaccinated, not wear masks, and merrily spread the virus for a resurgence next year.

@jesslv74 agrees with you entirely, unfortunately. I get they want people to trust the vaccines and use the "carrot" of no more masks as incentive...but those people already don't care, so yeah, carrots don't work too well. Someone needs to study game theory!

Given that some states are banning "vaccine passports," "vaccine proof" apps are privacy nightmares, and fraudulent "proof of vaccination" cards are flooding the country -- the CDC guidance today saying "vaccinated" people don't need masks is utterly and completely unworkable.
