I think @TeamYouTube seems to have forgotten that one of the biggest appeals of Youtube is that a lot of people have dreams of being a big Youtube star. Now that that's no longer possible for most viewers, why do you expect people will still watch the content?
Because back when being a youtube partner was extremely hard all the youtube care about was having fun and uploading cuz they enjoyed it. And now they all only care about money more than anything. Why else jake and logan paul act like morons on youtube?
