you have been brainwashed. Look how many people are suffering in this country, capitalism cannot work without poverty, communism can.

You somehow think that somehow communism will eliminate greed. It won't. What happens is people will take power, rule, enrich themselves and forcefully keep everyone else down. Greed isn't a result of capitalism, it's a result of human nature. Doesn't matter what economic system

you might be right, but I still think that capitalism is not the way, something needs to change

I am not one of those libertarians that thinks a free market solves everything. That it doesn't need oversight. But there will always be poor people. Some by circumstances out of their control, some by choices/laziness. We have to find a way to help lift people up who try

I agree, but capitalism doesn't care, even the hardest workers can be left for the streets, looks at our veterans for example

Even as someone who is very pro capitalism and very anti big government, I admit there is a lot of room for improvement. Many people you see on the street have mental disabilities, they need help. Those people could just as easily be you or I. Should never look down on people

Capitalism, like any other system, is only capable of what ever the people at the top and the bottom put into it. You should never have a system that rewards people unwilling to better themselves. Not incapable, but unwilling.

Should others have to pay for people that refuse to work or better themselves. Ev germany, people able to work are found jobs, if they don't take them or keep quiting them, they lose more and more benefits. It's not society's job to keep people alive that refuse to participate

I do business with German companies and know the system well. They will help the unemployed much higher than USA but they won't sustain able bodied layabouts. It's the reverse in the USA.
