The two types of alternative twitter platforms 1) "evil SJW safe space mob full of leftist snowflakes" 2) "evil far right hate-speech mob full of racist nazis" Is a middle-ground too much to ask for?

There's always a middle ground People like to exaggerate and demonize those because of their hatred. Most "evil SJW safe space mob full of leftist snowflakes" are really just people wanting basic things like people to not be racist or transphobic

What about the "evil far right hate-speech mob full of racist nazis"?

That's a lot more difficult because while obviously not everyone's like that, there's always people masquerading as normal people to try and manipulate others into thinking like they do. For instance, 4chan got so desensitized to edgy humour it was easy to get a lot of them

That's why I think twitter works best because it isn't as divided, those sub sections do exist on here, but you can block them out easily There are always extreme and hateful people everywhere, but even so, there's space for everyone

Maybe you're right, but twitter as a company has already demonstrated their biases. ""lefts"" refuse to use "free speech" alternative platforms, and ""rights"" refuse to use "safe space" alternative platforms, so I've been struggling to find one that fits between the two.

Can I ask how twitter has shown their biases Because I common trend I see is a push of misinformation used to attack people, and then people crying censorship after their hatred was deleted There really isn't such a thing as a safe space platform, you're allowed to say whatever,

unless it's hate, but even so many people manage to spread hate everywhere

Since I've grown online in a bunch of hateful spaces, I know what it's like being manipulated by people trying to spread hate and slandering those who fight against it Also despite all this twitter and tumblr as purely art platforms are probably the best, save for some quallity
