so since you lot wanna keep going back to the joke. the reason why the joke is funny is because it acknowledges this actually happens, and the reason the plan works is because it works cause it actually happens. the joke agrees with your argument of police being bad.

Not everyone shares that opinion Think of it this way They're making light of a serious problem, not using humour/satire to criticise

but making light of a serious issue is a form of satire, non shelontly saying fucked up shit and not having people freak out is pointing out how normal that is, giving commontary through a joke which is satire.

when do they ever go and say "hey man this is fucked up aren't you supposed to uphold the law" the movie never actually points out that it's an issue
