Sonic movie is a very good movie for kids and I think it'll probably get a lot of kids interested in it I was able to enjoy it because I wasn't really expecting a Sonic Movie, I expected what it was, just a fun kids movie It's not a great SONIC movie but it has neat moments
I honestly liked Tom a lot more than Sonic, James Marsden is a really good actor and I liked his interactions with Jim Creggman As for Sonic himself, I think it's a combination of the different design, voice and especially the actual character
It honestly feels completely different, not like Sonic at all, more like Sonic's long lost younger brother and really most of the time when Sonic was on screen I was reminiscing about Jason Griffith and Ryan Drummond and their interpretations of the character
If you haven't seen it, don't go into it expecting this super faithful adaptation with MCU levels of fanservice, just expect a silly kids movie with a handful of references It really wasn't as bad as I expected
I hope they don't incorporate anything from the movie into the main series though
