Okay, I know you're ranting... but what is the proper way to be funny? IDK just everything comedically gets shat on at some point; slap stick, random, dry humor, character interaction, quips, layers of irony. I don't necessarily disagree but I kind of want to know what peeps want
It's less about specific things and more about how a lot of humour gets very samey like anything can be funny if you do something interesting with it, but hardly everyone ever does as much as they used to
I kind of agree, I mean it is to be expected that humor gets homogenized when it's such a big part of culture now. I just wished people didn't blame it on specific styles, because I don't know a single style of humor that hasn't been called "overused" lol
