Like I haven't done anything wrong but I know that I've seen people I know have people sent after them and accused of stuff and made to apologise for hardly doing anything because someone wanted to turn them into the villain

--happens "cancelling" isn't real, it's a nebulous turn used either to try and avoid criticism or to describe the phenomenon where people take you out of context or dredge up old shit from years ago and ignore the concept of change, and then make stuff up to incriminate you--
