Do your Joycon drift?
BOTH of mine drift Left drifts up and right drifts right Causes misinputs in Smash and makes pretty much everything harder in BOTW

I literally can't play 3D games because of it. Most of the time in Smash it prevents me from dashing and sometimes I can't even move left or right, it's really crap. I can hardly even get through menus on the Switch generally. Right is manageable but also has a tad of drift.

A trick I found when having drift is to clean underneath the rubber cup of the thumbstick itself. Bar from that, taking it apart and seeing if it's broken is another option. Normally I'd say take it apart, but Joy Cons are some nasty sons a bitches to put together.
