Not true first of all! Your cuts are always on point & it's pleasant to watch. I found that the best way of improving your editing is searching for impressive stuff and trying to somehow incorporate it into a coherent style.

Doesn't have to be film either (sort of how Spiderverse takes a lot of elements from comics!). Look for cool transitions, practical effects & try to in some way replicate it. Can be super simple things too! If you keep it up your stuff'll look awesome in the future!
