Dumb, bad thing. Because food is the main issue and any solution that doesn't involve "providing more food" is just a feel-good waste of time, time that the whales don't have.

I have been increasingly convinced that there should be a complete halt to all such whale watching excursions. I voiced this and it was not received well. I’m glad this is being talked about.

They said they dont name them for at least 3 years or so to ensure they will survive their first years. That is why they only have numbers first.

At first i was unsure. But the last watch i was on, almost 10+ rafts and boats stalked and crowded the orcas. This must cause significant stress. Distance rules aren't follwed or enforced. The scientists are even denying the science behind the stress of whale watches.

For their own personal preferences, which disgusts me greatly! I think not having lots of boats stalking them (like hunts) and less noise scaring fish will help.

Until a study is done with no boat traffic then we can’t say we know. Why keep asking ppl who don’t have actual knowledge so just state opinion. 42 Orcas have died in 10 years, STOP talking and do something. Stop Chinook fishing, breach damns, limit traffic, close salmon farms!!
