Don't know. Dailymail isn't your high quality journalism. That said, the stats I get are official reporting, which is probably under. What I can say is that China's response of late is unprecedented.
That would lead to the conclusion, logically, that the "it's far worse than you're being told" is likely true. Supports my theory of a developed bio-warfare bug that got out and is wreaking havoc.
