Carers save the Government £135bn a year. We hardly get any support. We have wasted so much money on contracts to firms of no history of providing PPE etc. Carers are on their needs. Maybe we should stop caring and then see what happens

A good thing to do would be to stop making carers allowance a taxable benefit. An increase in my carers allowance is negated by the subsequent reduction in my income support payment. Also grants for unpaid carers to retrain when their caring responsibilities end.
