Today, @SenatorRounds, @SenJohnKennedy and @SenTedCruz joined me in introducing the WALL Act.
Our bill...
Funds @realDonaldTrump's border wall
Penalizes those who cross the border illegally
Closes loopholes that allow illegal immigrants to receive federal benefits

Doesn’t matter if they’re big on it, eminent domain laws allow it.
-
But it will be tied up in the courts for decades. The wall won't be funded anyway, so its a moot issue.
-
No it won’t. The law is clear cut & is used across the country everyday. The 5th amendment to the constitution allows the government to take land at fair market value. (Amount paid can be disputed) Plus most landowners along the border want protection.
-
Okay I'm confused. I thought conservatives wanted smaller government and decry government overreach.
-
I’m an independent, but more importantly an American who respects our US Constitution. Everything within it was for the people by the people, to assure our freedom, rights & prevent tyranny. Our constitution isn’t government over reach & altering them isn’t an option.
-
1) "it" 2) there are 27 amendments to the Constitution, so it has been altered 27 time. I think you need to clarify your thought a bit more.
