Every commentator saying that breaking the stage 3 tax cut promise would be politically disastrous ignores the fact that Hawke broke a tax cut promise & Abbott broke a TONNE of promises. People understand when bad policy needs to be ditched & Labor has HEAPS of political capital

VERY GOOD Question - I LIVE about 200 metres from a RURAL TAFE - no students there for at LEAST 2 years - maybe longer. Maintenance done, lawns mowed, nobody there - in a RURAL Area! Let's hope that the car park is full shortly!

Same. Fortunately, there are plenty of options to msm now. I suspect it's only the plus 40s (or 50s) that are having these discussion. My 16yo daughter is very plugged in to issues around the environment, inequality etc & she's only vaguely aware that TV news exists.
