Every commentator saying that breaking the stage 3 tax cut promise would be politically disastrous ignores the fact that Hawke broke a tax cut promise & Abbott broke a TONNE of promises. People understand when bad policy needs to be ditched & Labor has HEAPS of political capital

We can't have a Jobs & Skills summit without talking about coal & gas workers. It’s time to be honest with communities: coal & gas are fuelling the climate crisis, and we need a national Transition Authority, and a jobs & wages guarantee for workers, as we get out of coal & gas.
