    The Choristers of gave an utterly captivating performance of Britten's A Ceremony of Carols this lunchtime. Performing to a sell-out crowd - who gave them a standing ovation - they surpassed themselves! Bravo!

    At the feast of Candlemas today, we close our celebration of Christmas and Epiphany and as we do so, candles will fill the Cathedral! All are welcome to the Cathedral Festal Eucharist at 9.45am and the Festal Evensong with Procession at 3pm.

    To mark Holocaust Memorial Day today, we will be holding a Memorial Evensong at 5.15pm, recalling that this year is 75 years since the liberation of Auschwitz. Music, reading and prayers will be themed for the day, and half muffled bells will summon us to worship.
