I’m asked which courses are good. Although I’ve taken courses on other subjects, I’ve never taken a JS course, since when I first learned it online courses weren’t as abundant as they are now. One day I’ll release a JS course, but that won’t be till later this year.

I keep seeing courses by

During the course test your growing skills on coding challenges of progressive difficulty. You can find these on the code wars website.

When the course is done, you need to build an entire application from scratch. YOU MUST DO THIS This was always vital to my learning, of any language I used over the years.

Creating an entire app will expose gaps in your knowledge. It will also teach you how to structure a larger code base, a vital skill you don’t get from programming challenges.

After this I’d apply for a couple of dev jobs. You still might not be quite ready yet, but it’s worth practicing the process of applying for jobs and interviewing. Feedback from employers would also be great.
