        Re: surge capacity at hospitals: "Everyone has to pitch in, and "if you have non-necessary surgery… you're probably not going to be having those procedures for some time." Convos w hospitals about that this afternoon. (Many hospitals have already postponed elective surgeries.)

        . @DocJeffD says that area hospitals are still seeing ER visits and pneumonia at levels similar to the peak of flu season, and that waiting for our health systems to get overloaded isn't an option.

        . @DocJeffD, on what things will let them know they're effective. “Whatever we do today, we wouldn’t expect (to know) that impact for at least a month." Wouldn’t be able to look at number of cases two weeks from now to know. If effective. Be prepared for long haul.
