Yeah, you could bank the choice from lobby 1 and carry it through to the other maps. All of the maps would need to be owned by the same author for M2M loading to work, and you'd need each map to handle the transition logic via triggers.
Campaigns use map to map loading this way. When you boot up a campaign, you usually boot up a "Nexus" map that reads your bank and determines what the heck to do with you.

Technically it's possible, but 1v1 players have F10 + N too built into memory. If we can't keep the players in the game even after they've lost, then we can't kick them over to the next map in the series. Everyone I've talked to on the server agrees this can't be remedied...
