We welcome input on this project. But let me be clear: I do not welcome the racist, classist, exclusionary idea that essential workers & their families, Black and brown people, or families who've experienced homelessness don’t belong in the Sunset. 1/10https://www.sfexaminer.com/news/sunset-district-affordable-housing-discussion-flooded-with-scare-tactics-and-hysteria/ …

Replying to @Sfstreets415
I held a hearing on property crimes and authored a law mandating disclosure of data from SFPD to help address them, and as of this week am the chair of the Public Safety Committee. Look out for our next town hall announcement — we’ll have some big updates on community safety soon

No more meetings. We know what the issue is - not prosecuting crimes! Until we get tough on crime nothing will change.

Replying to @NoahsZark @Sfstreets415 and
LOL, the issue is putting detectives on investigations not prosecution. Do any of you even live out here in Sunset? You don't seem to have any idea what is going on.

I live in the Sunset and @SFPDTenderloin is doing a bang up job despite being reviled by progressives.
Cops is not the problem. @chesaboudin is the problem with his ideologically blinded “criminals are just victims of the system” catch & release policy.
