Yes, if you count the decline in crime due to the pandemic and nonviolent crime. Yay statistics! I mean, come on! Nobody is fooled. And yes, a lot of CA cities are the same - many on the progressive train, like LA. Could it mean catch & release doesn’t work? Hmmm...

Why, do you think it takes a leap of faith to assume that catch & release of violent repeat offenders increases crime? Or that SIP reduces rape? Yes, economic hardship causes crime. What’s puzzling is that some progressives seem to think that it justifies it.
