Having used @WebStormIDE for the last 10 months, it has become very very slow and laggy. So I'm going to switch over and give @code a go

In my experience what's seems slow is the indexing phase. It's not rare for me to wait 2-3 minutes after a simple npm install on a Dell XPS 13 which is not a weak machine.

Right, indexing is a CPU intensive task, especially when you have a lot of modules listed in package.json. We are constantly working on its optimization.

Indexing isn't the issue. Indexing finishes and the lag remains. I'll provide logs when I get a moment :)
