Is it possible to disable the new feature "adding to a changelist only selected changes" in @WebStormIDE @intellijidea? I swear I tried but it happens way to rarely that I have to apply changes in the same file for different reason, I rather like to stick to all changes same list
You could disable this only by disabling partial commits altogether. However, changed chunks are added to an active changelist, and unless you switch it, changes from the same file should not go to a different changelist. Could you please explain the problem a bit more?

Let's say I've got two changelist, "default" and "nocommit". I do a code change, assign the file to "default". I switch active to "nocommit", load dummy data/config in it and start debugging. I found a problem, fix it => this changed chunks land in "nocommit"

Ok I know, in this example, I could have thought about setting "default" as active changelist again before debugging, but well, still a human, it could happens and somehow happens often
