Sorry, can you please explain why you prefer the results on the right? You can’t have `this` here. WebStorm suggests the same items it would have suggested right inside the class {}. The suggestions on the right will also produce the invalid code.

Please press Alt-Enter on React import and select Install TypeScript definitions. WS doesn't acquire type definitions for libraries automatically. It relies on the static analysis to provide code completion and for React lifecycle methods it doesn't work that well, unfortunatelypic.twitter.com/uZ9PKLh9bk
