Wait, @intellijidea 2018.1 still doesn't have @PrettierCode integration? @WebStormIDE announced it recently...

It has. But as a separate plugin. Also Node plugin is required if I'm not wrong. I'm using it for few weeks already.

Node is obviously required, it has to use your project’s version of Prettier. The need to install the plugin which isn’t in the main repository is confusing — I had to google it.

You don't have to have the Node.js plugin installed to use Prettier in IJ. The default set of plugins in IJ and WebStorm is different, e.g. Vue.js, Prettier, Node.js plugins are not installed in IJ out-of-the-box, but they all are listed if you press Install JetBrains pluginspic.twitter.com/CJf2MFYZEg

Yup, what you show on the screenshot is super confusing ;-/ Which are plugins in the main list here? Aren't they JetBrains plugins too? About the Node.js package: you'll want to do that anyway to control Prettier version instead of using a random one from IJ.

The main list just shows all the installed plugins - it doesn't matter who has developed it. We've meant the Node.js plugin, not the package. IJ or WS don't have a built-in Prettier package, you have to install it either globally or as a project dependency.

> The main list just shows all the installed plugins Worth adding that to “search” field placeholder, I alway try use it as a search, not just a filter. > IJ or WS don't have a built-in Prettier package That’s good.
