Can you please try to create a command line launcher once again via the menu Tools - Create Command-Line Launcher?

Sorry, we thought you had a question about opening a project in the new window and not about indexing.

I am having problems with both at this point.
i cant open a new project through the command line no matter how many times i refresh the command line launcher. And when i do have a window up, it is so slow and always indexes like every 5 minutes1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Regarding indexing: any chance you have any build tools that update the project on save? If yes, can you please exclude the output folder (dist/out/build) from the project - right-click on it in the Project view and then select Mark as excluded

OK thanks I have marked a few directories as excluded. I will let you know if it happens to agressively index today. 'preciate you

Hope it helps If they are not excluded, WebStorm thinks these are project files and it needs to index them every time the tools deletes the files and then adds them again.
