I use three editors now. Atom because it works great with FB internal tooling, Code because it has a working Node debugger, and Sublime because it has a nice editor. oh no

Me too
. @AtomEditor because it works best with @flowtype, @code because it has a great node debugger and @WebStormIDE because it's got awesome refactorings, but sadly is slow and both its Flow & @typescriptlang support could be better (Atom and Code resp. beat it here).
We'd be glad to hear your feedback on the TypeScript support in WebStorm. What features do you miss?
The main thing I miss from @code is the ability to see the inferred type on hover. The tooltips/hovers in @code are much better designed than those in @WebStormIDE, and generally the documentation/tooltip experience is subpar: e.g. sometimes documentation overlays tooltips.
Starting with WebStorm 2017.2 you can see inferred types on cmd-hover. In the upcoming WebStorm 2018.1 the UI for these tooltips and for the documentation has been drastically changed.
Hey @WebStormIDE. Here's a video of the bugs I mentioned. This is from the latest EAP (one from yesterday): https://youtu.be/e47wu2SjK3A . Hovering an error makes it flicker (appear and disappear - not possible to click its links), plus documentation tooltip overlays the error tooltip.
The problem with the overlap will be fixed in the next Early preview build. So far we had no luck reproducing the flickering... Have you noticed, it happens with all error tooltips or only with some of them (e.g. with long error messages)?
Flickering happens with long error tooltips when they try to position themselves at the same place where the mouse pointer is. If they're small enough to position themselves below the pointer, they don't flicker. I use large font sizes, maybe that's related? I'm on OS X.
We've reproduced the problem. It seems that it flickers when the error message is very long and the cursor is positioned exactly at the border of the highlighted error. Here's a related issue: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-162089 …
We hope our colleagues from the IntelliJ-platform will have a look at it. And we, on our side, we'll try to add an additional wrapping to the Flow error messages.
