@WebStormIDE should have an option to mark excluded directories BEFORE indexing, so it’s not a race to click before the editor freezes

What directories are that? We exclude some directories by default and try to detect more cases when we have exclude folder automatically

I have this issue often whenever i finish a build (and it is put into a build folder) webstorm locks up my computer till indexing finishes

We recommend excluding build/output folder because otherwise, the IDE thinks that it's part of the project source and analyses it.

btw what build tool do you use? In the next version will be able to detect such folders from webpack config...

First a webpack build is run and output to a build folder then the jive sdk outputs to a diff folder and outputs a zip(it was a jive addon)
