Have a feeling that @WebStormIDE is trying to kill my laptop gradually. Can't explain those sporadic attacks on RAM anyhow else.

Do you have any tools running in a watch mode?Please make sure that the output folders with the generated code are excluded from the project

For that right-click on the folder in the Project view and select Mark as excluded

That makes total sense. Though I would prefer this to be an option in settings that I can turn on/off for all .gitignore entries.

Yes. I can’t see any reason why it can’t be opt-out and not opt-in. It was confusing me for months with search and refactorings.

Would be hard to make sure it would work fine for all kinds of projects and languages, but might be worth trying.
