are you using Angular2 RC? Then please try WebStorm 2016.2 EAP: http://blog.jetbrains.com/webstorm/2016/05/webstorm-2016-2-early-access-preview/ … A2RC doesn’t work properly in WS2016.1 :(

there’s no TypeScript plugin, TypeScript is implemented inside the JavaScript plugin

sorry, but that’s not a valid code, you’ll get the errors from the TypeScript compiler as well that it’s an unexpected token.
