it's just IMPOSSIBLE to get #JSCS working in #WebStorm. and If you do, you get to solve 1000 inherent #UX problems of this #IDE. big meh!

@michahell would be happy to hear what's wrong with JSCS in WebStorm and what exact problems you get

@webstormide 1) unclear if WebStorm picks up jscsrc / jscs.json file or not. 2) unclear if JS code style settings overwrites those, or not.

@michahell JSCS checks the code style, it doesn't affect your IDE code style settings, that is why it's next to other Code quality tools

@webstormide aha, now it becomes clear to me how it works. So you'd need to use airbnb jcsc to check AND add it to js code style to indent?

@michahell you can configure indents in the IDE and then share this config via VSC with your team or you can try http://editorconfig.org/

@webstormide Understood. though there is a bug in the JSCS preset + config combo: there can be conflicting rules, allowComma, disallowComma

@michahell there's no exact match between JCSC rules and WebStorm code styles: there're dozen of JSCS rules + you can add custom rules

@webstormide I mean, either use: USE_COMMA [ true / false] OR use DONT_USE_COMMA [true / false]. that's what I mean :) having both is asking

@michahell :) I think the question should go to JSCS Twitter or Github.

@webstormide yes, I now understand the difference. but JSCS itself has conflicting stye rules which is ridiculous, why would you want that?
