@michlbrmly my only minor complaint is it's still bad at auto-imports if you are importing inside a barrel library - but other than that it's starting to be the best IDE for TypeScript development.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Using barrel structures and path aliases create a total mess with import. WebStorm can't decide whether to use `../folder` or `@/folder` and decides to use both randomly.

Please share a sample project with us: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/WEB . We'll try to replicate the issue and see what it could be related to and if there's anything we can improve.

Sure, here is an open source library I just released: https://github.com/tanepiper/rxjs-primitives … First screenshot is the actual code I'm writing, but second shows if I try auto-import it's trying to load it from the library index.ts instead (causing circular dependencies)pic.twitter.com/fyGGxo5ruw

Issue raised :) https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-45426 It's been around for a while, I'm surprised no one else has raised it before! Hopefully it can be fixed.
